Notes
Dear entrants and supporters of the 15th Balaklava Eisteddfod,
If this is your first time entering we give you a warm welcome and trust that your experience with us will be a positive and fruitful one as well as enjoyable. If you have entered before we are delighted to have you back.
In this year’s Eisteddfod..........
- Please note this year’s new look syllabus. It has been designed so that each section which has something a little more complex or has reminders to highlight have been included on that page for your easy reference. It is most important to read all the detail and follow up rule references.
- Sponsorship Opportunities - Contact Lenice Cox (08) 88621173. All donations gratefully accepted as we do not receive any government assistance and rely on the generosity of sponsors to run the Balaklava Eisteddfod.
- Bank transfer payments can now be made into a Balaklava Eisteddfod Society account. See Syllabus for BSB and Bank Account details.
- Print Music - Any downloaded print music from the internet is to be presented with evidence of ‘authorization for use’ including receipts, as all original music must be sighted by the booking in staff.
- Some Championship Winners from the Friday and Saturday competitions will be invited back to perform in the Sunday Finale Concert.
- Accompanists - Entrants are to provide their own accompanists for rehearsal and performance day.
- Booking in prior to performance - Entrants must book in at least within the 30 minutes prior to commencement of their division, however they may book in earlier at any time.

The Balaklava Eisteddfod is held annually at the
end of Week 2, Term 3 (SA Public School term dates)

to be added to the mailing list.
Please give full name, address and contact details in your email
as per the form on the Advance Notice brochure.
Indicate if you are a teacher, parent &/or prospective entrant
and what your area(s) of interest is in the Balaklava Eisteddfod.
